Love You Long Time Secret Little Garden was born from the vision of Kristina Zhao — chef, restaurateur, James Beard Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership Fellow, and the woman San Antonio has called its sweetheart for good reason. As a Chinese-American entrepreneur who has spent her career honoring both her heritage and her adopted city, Kristina brings a rare combination of culinary mastery, cultural depth, and genuine community love to everything she creates.
You may know her from Sichuan House, her beloved celebration of bold, authentic Sichuan cuisine. Or from Asia Market, the community anchor that has fed San Antonio families for years. Or perhaps from Dashi Chinese Kitchen & Bar — the legendary restaurant that redefined what Chinese dining could look and feel like in this city, and whose closing left a gap that San Antonio still feels.
